Genesis 18: 1-3 (AMP) Now the Lord appeared to Abraham by the terebinth trees of Mamre [in Hebron], while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day. Verse 2: When he raised his eyes and looked up, behold, three men were standing [a little distance] from him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed down [with his face] to the ground. Verse 3: and Abraham said, “My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please do not pass by your servant [without stopping to visit].

No one can ever fully understand how events are orchestrated for God’s glory. When Abraham welcomed visitors in his home, little did he know that he was welcoming Angels with good news. Similarly, when Mr Obonyo Sliver Senior welcomed and adopted Ms Kayaga Monica in the year 2016 with open arms of Love to his home; he did not understand that he had welcomed an Angel that would transform not only his life and family but an entire community.

In that year, she introduced  her foster family to the God of Prophet Abraham Richard. This act of faith set into motion a Divine journey that would eventually transform the Tororo region. As the Obonyo family relocated to Tororo, the Holy Spirit continued to lead them. By 2023, the people of  Tororo, particularly Merikit region had developed a strong yearning to meet the Prophet of God, Abraham Richard. Just as Jesus shared a deep bond with Lazarus (John 11:5), so began a beautiful relationship between the Prophet and the people of Tororo.

 A Prophetic Mission of Love:

In 2024, the Spirit of God declared through His Servant, Prophet Abraham Richard, that it would be a year of showing Love to Tororo. This vision echoed the words of Scripture: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13). With hearts full of faith, the Prophet and his disciples journeyed to Merikit in September 2024, overcoming challenges on the road with unwavering trust in God, living out the truth of  2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7

For we live by faith, not by sight.”

Heaven Confirms its Servant: Love in Action and Spiritual Breakthroughs.

Upon arrival, the Prophet and his team were welcomed warmly by the community leaders and elders. Remarkably, God confirmed His Servant’s presence with a sign of rain, just as prayed for by one of the leaders. The Prophet reminded the gathering of the importance of unity, love, and honoring elders.

Just as Jesus fed the multitudes, the Prophet and his team shared gifts of love and support, leaving the community with joy and thanksgiving to God. Even the Body of Christ of Tororo received a love gift to support the work of God. In addition to that the orphanage received financial support from the Ministry.

On the second day of this mission, the Prophet by the Grace of God also demonstrated love practically by praying for deliverance, breaking bondage, and sharing gifts of clothing. Elders, youths, and families experienced the touch of God both spiritually and physically.

The Legacy of Love and Faith:

As the Apostle Paul reminds us: “Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained Angels without realizing it.” (Hebrews 13:1–2). The Prophet’s final words resound as a lasting legacy: “Let Love lead you in everything you do. We came by Love; we live by Love and we shall go by Love.”

EXPERIENCES:

Sister Anna from Tororo, Merikit Town council:

I am so happy for the gifts I have received; I feel so much joy in my heart! I was grateful to receive rice, sugar, cooking oil and many other home essentials in my package. I do not know the Prophet personally and neither does he know me, but to find out that I was privileged to be picked upon and I am given these gifts, it can only be God who made it possible. Thank you, LORD. When I go out, I will share with people what the Prophet has taught that we should love.

Brother Peter from God’s People FC Merikit:

I have been seeing scriptures and hearing about Love but today I am happy to be a recipient of the gospel of Love. I thank the LORD who has given us another set of jerseys because it has been a need. Sometimes, we would play bare chested to keep the jerseys clean for another match. We even actually received a full kit, we even have socks, you know when you wear these socks, you can be very smart. I pray that the Prophet of God can keep praying for us because I believe with him and God on our side, we can manage.

Sister Ruth from Seseme South:

When I was receiving the gifts from the Prophet of God, I felt so much joy in my heart. Tonight is going to be a different because I am going to sleep on a mattress with bed sheets and a blanket. I lost my husband in the year 2021, and since then I have been sleeping on a torn bed sheet and a mat, that he left me with. I thank God that today I am going to sleep comfortably. Glory and honour go back to you O’ LORD.

Sister Veronica from Tororo:

I feel so good that I have received these gifts because I did not expect them. I am a widow and I had no hope, but these gifts have restored my hope. My heart was full of sorrow because of the situations I was going through but now my heart is full of joy! For the many years I have been a Christian, I have never seen such an act of Love.  Thank you, Jesus for the Love gifts you have supplied to me. I am going to enjoy rice, smear myself with Vaseline, and enjoy the other gifts as well. From today, I am going to live by the gospel of Love

Brother Alex from God’s People FC- Merikit:

I am a football player in God’s People FC and I am so grateful to be here today to receive our new jerseys. We have been having one jersey, but I thank God who has supplied to us these jerseys.

Sister Abo from Tororo:

I feel so good that I have been remembered by the LORD. I have sleeping on a worn our mattress but today what the LORD has done for me, I am going to enjoy my new mattress. Thank you, Jesus, for sending us your Prophet in this region.

Brother Frank from Tororo:

I thank the LORD for bringing clothes to us. It is a sign that the LORD cares for us. Right now, I am holding my new pair of trousers and a shirt. Thank you, LORD.

Sister Vicky from Tororo:

I am so grateful and honoured that I have been remembered by the LORD in a special way. I have received a full package for my unborn baby, I do not have to go shopping. Thank you, Christ Jesus.
