On 5th December, 2019, the Prophet under the guidance of the Holy Spirit revealed, “Elections are coming in Israel next year. Netanyahu! What should we expect? I do not know in Israel which Prime Minister has ruled over three terms. Check in the history of Israel, what is their term limit. I think he has served well according to God’s Will. I remember when the Israelites were fighting with the Moslems, I think it was in his term and it was solved.”
Still on 25th February, 2020, the Prophet revealed again, “You watch Israel, they are going into elections. I asked who the longest serving leader is and I said I will come back. What does this mean? The longest serving Prime minister is coming back.”
How perfect a revelation is when spoken by the Prophet of God! Indeed, as the Word of God tells us in Isaiah 55:11 that when the Word of God is sent out, it will not return until it has been perfected.
It all began on 2nd March 2020, Israel held its third election in less than a year to vote for a Prime Minister. As the results came in, it was a political dreadlock as the two main rivals Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz both did not get the required votes to form a government. In a bid to avert a fourth election and the outbreak of the coronavirus; both parties after tense negotiations formed a unity government on 20th April 2020.
According to many media outlets, the deal represents a triumph for Netanyahu, who has pushed relentlessly to extend his record run at the top of Israeli politics. Critics and observers marvelled that Israel’s longest-serving prime minister has once again outrun the political obituaries written for him after his party and its allies failed to regain their majority in three straight national elections and he was indicted on corruption charges along the way.
One may think, that the Word of God was perfected but it was not yet over, the Spirit of God was still working to bring this Word to where His name would be glorified.
On 1st November, 2022, the former Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu secured a majority of parliamentary seats in the country’s fifth election in four years. As it was revealed, “…The longest serving Prime minister is coming back.”
Netanyahu and his own right-wing allies won a total of 64 seats of the parliament’s 120 seats. His own Likud party won 32 seats whilst the utra-orthodox parties secured 18 seats, and the far-right alliance won 14 seats, the Israeli electoral commission said on Thursday.
It is also reported that the Prime Minister re-entered office at the heed of what many expected to be the most right-wing government in Israel’s 74-year history.
“This fifth election was conducted after the then Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennet announced on 20th June that he would be moving a bill to dissolve his coalition government, a year after taking office, consequently sending the Country into a fresh round of elections where Netanyahu’s party won the election according to the Hindu.”
It is without doubt that God works in mysterious ways, where many thought it was over for Netanyahu, before the LORD, it was not yet over.
The Prophet revealed, “…Netanyahu! What should we expect…?” Surely, nobody expected it to happen the way it did, but that is the LORD, His thoughts are not the thoughts of men. Exactly after one-year, fresh elections were held and he came out victorious. He is God indeed, what He says must come to pass.
Child of God, let us take this as a very vital learning lesson, as much as we have our own desires, we should never forget there is God’s set plan for our lives. Let us adhere to that, because He knows how every situation [good & bad] we are in will end. Isaiah 58:8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
