The Prayer Mountain – a place designated for Prayer and where Spirit filled Prayer is made, we expect the presence of God. Where the presence of God is, miracles, signs and wonders must be witnessed as a confirmation of His supremacy.

After falling in a drainage channel that was partially covered in Arua District where Mr. Katungye Mark had gone for work. He thought it was just a simple fall and believed he would recover soon until his CT scans came back.

When he went to hospital Mr. Mark was informed that he had a fracture around the left knee.

According to the Computer Tomography scan, the bones had been broken and the base was partially broken with a cut. It also displayed that he had multiple cracks on the knee.

After receiving this devastating news, in the same breathe, Mr. Katungye was given a solution that was not viable to him at that time. The orthopedic surgeon advised him to have a surgery whereby they would put plates and screws to hold the bones for healing.

He flatly rejected this proposal and chose to use traditional methods.

Exactly after one month and ten days of using the traditional method to revive his left knee, Mr. Mark went back to hospital. However, when he went in for review, he was only left frustrated with the news given to him.

Mr. Mark was categorically informed that all his traditional methods were fruitless, nothing had changed in regard to his knee.

Once again, he was medically advised to undergo surgery because that was the only way Mr. Katungye was ever going to get healed properly and completely. Dejected and determined, he found one of the best hospitals specialized in orthopedic surgeries in Uganda.

His surgery was slated for the following week, however, it would take roughly seven months for him to fully recover.

Mr. Mark recounts, “I was so determined to have that surgery after I got the news that my knee was still in a pretty bad state. Imagine, I had spent one month and ten days on traditional methods but they yielded to nothing.

If an opportunity had come my way to have a surgery that day I was told that I have not improved, I would have taken it because I was miserable.”

As all this was going on in the life of Mr. Katungye, the Lion of Judah was watching over him as inscribed in Deuteronomy 32:10 [NIV]: In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye.

True and true, when the LORD does not want something to happen, He will see to it that it does not happen. Somehow this operation did not go through as well even though the appointment had been set.

One of Mr. Mark’s friends rang him and encouraged him to seek a second medical opinion from visiting an orthopedic surgeon to consult.

A meeting was arranged and when he met him, the orthopedic surgeon advised him not to have a surgery because the knee was recovering.

He noted that if he was to have the surgery, they would have to cut more tissues.

He then gave Mr. Katungye some medication and strongly cautioned him not to put any sort of pressure on his left knee. This is because any sort of pressure could damage the delicate process of healing.

Basically Mr. Mark would have to rely on the right side of his body alone until he was fine.

He was also told that if the knee was healed, he would graduate to using one clutch and probably be able to walk again. He took the advice given to him by the orthopedic surgeon and cancelled the surgery.

Because of the predicament that had befallen him, Mr. Mark was interacting with People less and less. He did not want to be seen by his peers in the state he was in.

A few days later, one of his business associates who knew about his condition was convicted in his spirit the second time to tell Mr. Katungye Mark about the Prayer Mountain in Luwombo –Buikwe District.

By the Grace of God, Mr. Mark was very willing to come for prayers.

As it was with the paralytic in Luke 5:17-18, when Mr. Katungye encountered Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso, his story was rewritten again.

Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Prophet prayed for him and instructed him to walk using both feet contrary to the doctor’s warnings.

In his own words, Mr. Katungye recounts what happened on 3rd March 2022, “When Prophet Abraham instructed me to walk and I did. I was actually surprised that I could walk. I did not understand what was happening, I did not know that bones could be healed instantly.”

As Mark was shocked, the Spirit of God was not fully finished with him.

The following day before he left his room, the Holy Spirit spoke and instructed him to start exercising. When he heard this, Mr. Mark was obedient and began to exercise with the clutches.

After walking around the room twice, the Holy Spirit instructed him to put weight on the left leg which he did and started moving again.

Finally, the Holy Spirit instructed Mr. Katungye to put down the clutches and he did. He was able to move freely and happily without any ounce of pain. Immediately, he felt joy within his heart and he knew that he was completely healed because all this was happening at his home.

Then he gathered his closest family present and asked them to close their eyes like someone who had a surprise for them.

When Mr. Katungye asked them to open their eyes, he told them that God had performed a big miracle in his life – He could walk again using both feet!

The Children asked their father to show them and he obliged walking around the house demonstrating how God had rewritten his story.

Delightfully, accompanying Mr. Mark to testify for the goodness of God were Mr. David Mulinda and Mr. Twesigye David who had this to say.

Mr. David Twesigye : I knew about the accident that Mark had while in Arua, I knew all about the traditional methods that he was using. Recently, he called me and I asked him about the pain and the leg and Mark laughed it off and told me that he got a miracle.

I asked him, what kind of a miracle? He told me that someone he works with directed him to a Church where he was prayed for and was healed.

I asked him if he was still using the clutches and Mark told me that he had dropped them totally. I told him that when he is going to testify, I will go with him to also give thanksgiving on his behalf.

My purpose here is to thank God for what He has done because I know all the troubles Mark has gone through because of the injury. To God be the Glory.

Mr. Mulinda David: Initially when I met Mark, he was fine, however when I called him in regard to the project we were supposed to start, he told me that he got an accident. This project was pushed to January and that is when I met Mark, but he had bandages on the knee.

We were working on the project, I asked him if he believes, God can heal him. At that time he still had many options, so the conversation did not make any head way.

However, when I was convicted by the Holy Spirit the second time, I asked Mark if he believed that God can heal him, he said yes.

Preparations were made by the Grace of God to come to the Prayer Mountain and he was more than willing and yearning. After the Prophet prayed for Mark, a miracle happened.

I am also here to thank God for my brother Mark who is now able to walk.
