SEM HEADER

Welcome, beloved in Christ. As the sun sets and the day gently closes, let us enter a space of quiet reflection, a sacred moment with the LORD. Find a comfortable position. Take a deep breath in; and slowly release. Let the weight of the day drift away and allow your spirit to grow still before the Lord.

As Prophet Abraham Richard shared this evening from the studio of Dew Radio,
he invited us into a deeper understanding; a truth that distinguishes what we feel from what we believe. “Faith,” he reminded us, “is not of the mind, it is of the heart.”
“Feelings arise from the mind, but faith stirs within the heart.” Let these words echo within you now.

 Reflect with the Seer:
When the LORD speaks, what is it that moves you? Is it your emotions? Or is it your heart responding in reverence? The Book of Hebrews chapter 11, verse 1 tells us: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
This is not about what your eyes see or your hands touch. This is about what your heart believes.

Since it is the LORD who has spoken; fear and reverence for God will touch me and move my heart. Then my heart will challenge the mind to take to action; that is how we shall know it is God’s presence.

Many people think faith is from man’s mind, but contrary to that, feelings are from man’s mind and faith is of man’s heart. That is why feeling do not move God, rather faith -the heart moves Him. If your heart is okay, then everything is okay, but if your mind is okay, it does not mean your heart is okay.

Let us meditate now on this truth: “If your heart is okay, then everything is okay.”

Let me give you an example, there are scholars and professors who have studied but they are all sick in the heart. The Bible says in the book of Proverbs chapter 4 verse 3 that we should guard our hearts because life begins there. Your heart is the source of life.

So, if faith is of a man’s heart, and feelings for man’s mind, where is our problem as Christians? We consider more what is in our minds than the heart. Our brains are so near; what we see, smell, say, feel, and touch. We consider more what we see than what we believe in our hearts. Let me explain this deeper so that you can gain understanding.

When you meet with none believers who have the wealth you are looking for; you easily forget what the LORD has said and done for you. What you see captivates you, and you mistakenly call it faith, judging by your natural eyes. Today, you complain because of what you see with our natural eyes, even if it does not concern you.

Our ears are lying to us, yet when we come before LORD we claim to believe Him. We have a big problem today as Christians of not differentiating between faith and feeling.

Have you ever imagined why you go to pray and never receive what you pray for? It is because you have mixed feelings with faith. In so doing, you weaken the LORD, yet the Word of God says; if the son sets you free, you are free.

Whenever your prayer is pointing fingers at the people who are physical, get to know you are in feelings, not faith. The Word of God tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but spiritual beings in the spiritual realm (Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10-18)

Let this be your quiet reflection tonight: Have I been living by what I feel?
Or am I walking by what I believe?

We believe that these words of wisdom make clear to you where your problem lies, and this message also offers the solution. Allow yourself to shift from feelings to faith so that you can see the True Glory of God upon your life.

As Prophet Abraham Richard shared:

“Our problem as Christians today is that we consider more what is in our minds than what is in our hearts.” “We are quick to believe what we see—and slow to believe what God has said.”

Dear reader, right now, take a moment in stillness and ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern; to move from feelings to faith.

As you prepare to rest, carry this with you: Your battle is not against what you see or feel. It is spiritual, and your victory is by faith. Let the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Shalom, beloved. Until the morning light, rest in faith, not in feeling.
