Seer Abraham Richard, by the special Grace of God, spoke to the listeners on Dew Radio for the Sunday Evening Meditation concerning the spirit of lies. These was the meditation of his heart:
Why we should know Christ Jesus more:
We do not have much time here on earth, so every moment you get, utilize it by getting to know God more than the ways of the world. It is those who want to be saved that seek to know God more and His ways. In Philippians 3:10, the Apostle Paul states his desire to know Christ; His life, way, and character, more fully. If you do not prioritise learning about God, worldly concerns will consume you.
Why we read the Bible:
The reason we should read the Bible is to know more about Christ Jesus’ lifestyle and His teachings. The more we know about God is the more we dine with Him, understand Him better and build a relationship. You will come to realise that many of us have not given God time because we read the Bible for purposes of preaching.
We have three categories of people who read the Bible: those that read it to teach, those that read it to pray according to the Word of God and others read it to live it.
The most important is to read and live it; this will help you to share from your very own experience as you speak to children of God. That brings Anointing to be genuine and the devil cannot play cards with you.However, he will play cards with someone who says; I read the Word of God to preach it.
Do not misrepresent the HolySpirit:
We must allow ourselves to go through tests whilst in the LORD. We are living in a world where Christians have no roots in God, yet we are living in the era of the HolySpirit. We are hurting Him.
We should be friends with the HolySpirit. Do not say what He has not told you, that alone is trouble.Whenever we say what the HolySpirit has not said, we are promoting the devil in the presence of God’s people. With such behaviour, judgment and punishment await us.
Never be tempted to say what you are not sure of; if it was a dream, say I dreamt, I felt, or I received a revelation. Avoid mentioning the name of Jesus or the Holy Spirit unless it is through prayer because they are so sensitive and Holy. Do not forget that He is the Spirit of Truth, therefore, never think that you can lie to man with the Holy Spirit.
Meditation point: There is no small lie:
No one in this world can detect a lie on a man’s tongue apart from the Holy Spirit, because He is the spirit of truth. Many people today, their daily food is lying because we want to equate ourselves to others.
You find one telling a story or a vision when it is ninety-night percent true and the one percent a lie. The devil is so cunning that he has planted deep lies in men because he is a liar and a father of all lies.[Saint John chapter 8 verse 44-45]
A lie is a lie; there is no small lie. If we are to possess the Holy Spirit, we should not have any hint of lies within us. When you stand and lie, it means your father is the devil.
Why do people tell lies?
Have you ever asked yourself why people tell lies? The reason we are still lying is because we are weak and want to convince others. Let me give you advice; you cannot keep hiding and camouflaging in shadows of weaknesses.
Question: What is truth? Truth is God the Father and the Holy Spirit, and for you to receive the spirit of truth, it is a process. The Holy Spirit will strengthen a man who tells the truth to keep moving, because the truth sets you free. The moment the devil is within your spirit, you will never come close to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not cheap:
I feel pain every minute in my heart whenever I hear people blasphemy the Holy Spirit (lie in his Name). This generation has made the Holy Spirit so cheap, yet He is not that cheap.
When you also examine scriptures in Proverbs chapter 6 verse 16 to 18: There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
The Word of God says; there six things the LORD hates and is ready to kill someone. Seven He deeply detects, which surprises man’s understanding. Show me a man who has met God, I will show you humility, show me a man who has met the devil I will show you pride.
God is looking for true Servants:
You cannot go rescue children of God when you still have an evil element of lies in you. The LORD is looking for men to work with, let us respect Him. Do not go to the Holy Spirit to guide you when you are not going to do what He told you [John 8:31-32.]
Let the Spirit of truth guide you:
What I am saying in summary of everything; we need the Spirit of truth in everything we do. Thank you, child of God, for listening to this message for the salvation of your soul. May the Spirit of God extend this message to your hearts until the day of glory. Thank you very much in Jesus’ name as you join in this prayer moment.
