“Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7
Good morning, Child of God. “I pray you receive this message in faith, for it will help you in the coming season. Let me remind you of the true message for every believer. In 1 John chapter 3, we are given the foundation of our walk with God; the message of love. ‘This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.’ 1 John 3:11
We are warned: ‘We must not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and killed his brother… because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous.’ 1 John 3:12. So do not be surprised: ‘If the world hates you… we know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.’ 1 John 3:13–14
This is the only genuine message; the message that leads us to Heaven: Love.
Paying the Debt of Love:
This year 2025, we carry a great debt; the debt of love. The Word of God says: ‘Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another.’ Romans 13:8 Do not focus on journeys, plans, or the future. Focus on paying this debt—to love one another.
You may have tried to love, but failed. Why? Because true love cannot come from the flesh. No man can love rightly unless the Holy Spirit is at work within him. No one can truly comfort you unless the LORD is doing it through them.
When Christ Jesus is formed in you, He makes your heart His dwelling place. Then your love will reveal Him. Many can show love, but not all can sustain it. Why? Because of motives and intentions. If it is God loving through you, it will endure. But if it is driven by the flesh, it will fade.
People may imitate the love of Christ, but only consistency proves its truth. For it is written: ‘He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.’ Philippians 1:6
How do we know that the Love is from God? There will be a Divine, constant push within us to keep loving, even when it is difficult. Love strengthens us. Through love, we reveal who we truly are. God Himself is love. Therefore, if you are a child of God, you must carry His identity, you must be known by love.
A Call to Reflection:
Time is running fast, and soon you will go home. Where will you go? If we are not saved, then we have wasted our time on earth. If we are to do anything in 2025, let it be this: pay the debt of love. When we do this, God Himself will come down. We cannot claim to have loved God enough. The way He loves us shows that we still owe a debt.
So I urge you: take your eyes off your plans and programs. Focus on paying the debt of love. Write it down and make it your declaration: ‘This year, I will pay the debt of love.’ When this debt is paid, our sorrow will fade. For perfect Love removes fear, and everything will begin to fall into place.
Serve God on Your Knees:
Your knees represent humility, obedience, reverence, and putting God first. Look at the life of Prophet Daniel: ‘Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home and got down on his knees three times a day and prayed.’ Daniel 6:10
No matter the situation, he never neglected prayer. Make it your habit this year, until it becomes your character, to go on your knees before God. Do not pray only in times of trouble. Even in joy, go on your knees. Then prayer will become natural and easy for you.”
A Year of Transformation:
This is a year of changing habits and character. We must grow in loving others more and more. If you have been loving, then increase it. Do better. This is the path to a perfect life in Christ Jesus and to eternal life. There is no other message you need in this season more than this message of love—it is your escape from death.
I give thanks to the LORD for this time we have spent in His presence, hearing from the Holy Spirit. Shalom.
