As the house of believers were dancing in honour to the King of kings, the Prophet of God Abraham Richard Bisaso, with all divine spiritual authority invested in him, took his position at the pulpit and then led them into the WORD of God. He taught:

Many times we have asked God for justice yet we are unfaithful. No one can take a man’s blessing unless that man is not blessed by God. Before asking for justice believer, look at yourself in the mirror; get to know your stand before the LORD then make your requisite. Other than that, you may come to realize that you are a reflection of those you leave among.

What you are naturally reflects the spiritual you and what man sows, he reaps. Many of us do not want to reap what we sowed. Your whole life you have sowed hatred and today because you are in the presence of God you are seeking for justice. This is not right!

Today, your life is full of confusion because you are a double minded believer and not in the image of Christ Jesus. So, before you point a finger at your neighbour, first put yourself right with God. He that cannot believe in the spoken word of Christ Jesus cannot be trusted.

This brings me to our point of meditation, “Self Control.” If you cannot control yourself, you can never manage anything. Look at what is going on; there is a lot of financial bondage, pressure, crisis to mention but a few. To a Christian, you are not supposed to fear because when the year was beginning, we received a message saying, this year is going to be tougher, but to Christian there is away.

It is so ashaming that you have already forgotten this message and have lost control already. In such a time; we ought to pray the more for a way in the sea other than complaining. If you cannot control yourself and believe your vision, you will lose everything you have.

When we look at the story of Jesus and the disciples in the boat on a Christian mission; as their boat was hit by a storm, Jesus was resting and the disciples saw death and ended up crying out to Him for help yet He expected them to display faith.

You to believer do not change your going because of the situation before you because you cannot go back to unfaithfulness. There is a way in that sea you are in, just pray about it.

As we mediate, here is a question for you. What kind of Christian are you? A seasonal Christian or an all time believer! We are supposed to be all time Christians.

Am in the book of 1Corinthians 10:11-13 [NIV]: ¹¹These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. ¹²So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

As the scripture has said that these things happened so that we could be careful that we do not fall. It means you may have a sea before you as a Christian and cannot cross over to the other side, the LORD says there is a way. But it is not for everyone to go through. Yes! It is there but not everyone will cross it this year 2022 without faith.

These things happened to our fore fathers to be examples to us. They too found obstacles often times and if you happen to ask them, they can tell you. When you ask the people that came from Mountain Sinai, they will tell you that the way is not easy and the route does not exist because it goes to the lake.

But to Moses, the way is short. Why is it short to Moses and long to the Israelites? Faith! Others many not see the way, but you as a man of God, there is a way for you. I don’t think you should lose control now.

Do not defile yourself because of your situation; Heavens is watching you. This gospel has been preached on everyone’s door, learn to control every situation that comes before you; be it joy or sorrow. The more you remain in control; you will see Gods way and make the right prayer.

Self control is a fruit of the Holy Spirit that we all need because many things are going to affect us. But we need to be in control of them not them controlling us. You already have the word of God believer, it should help you.

The moment you cannot control yourself in a situation, you cannot manage anything: home, marriage, business or even your faith in God. Many of us today are seasonal Christians, when you are blessed with everything; Jesus is LORD, and when situations are bad you forget that He is LORD this will make you miss out on your blessings.

Stay in control so that you can mange God’s WORD in your life. With this kind of behaviour, God will trust you with anything. Many of us say we believe, yet we don’t. Challenges are among us, but do not let them take dominion over you.

How do you control the situation before you? Where there is no self control, man has no faith in God. A Christian relies on the Word of God. However, where there is no peace in a man’s heart, there is no faith.

You know yourself better, so give yourself a piece of mind. Your God can do what you cannot. Pray for self control and practise it then you will be a victor. Right now, we have lost patience simply because we cannot control our selves.

I believe I have given you a piece of advice. Control yourself and let your God do what you cannot do. Let us honour God for the message.
