It was a Prophetic encounter that turned Saul an ordinary man into a man of value. This is the testimony of Mr. Grace Walugembe who had an encounter with Prophet Abraham Richard the Servant of the LORD. Their encounter was a Divine one that led to the military promotion of Major Grace in the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces.
He narrates that when he met the Prophet of God; he was a commanding officer at Kasubi detach found in Buikwe district at the rank of captain with no prospects of getting a promotion. As time travelled, Prophet Abraham Richard always shared with him Godly and insightful advice concerning his life and service which he put in practise. He even encouraged him to get a Bible and pick up a habit of prayer.
By the continuous counseling it encouraged his change of character and military service. He kept himself in the atmosphere of the Prophetic calling and special prayers from the Servant of God .
Brother Walugembe narrates that, “One day while i was in his office, after he had laid his hands upon me, for forgiveness of my sins, he prophesied upon me a promotion in my military service. He said: What is the next rank after captain in the force?’ Major Sir, I responded. I see you in this year promoted. You will come back to testify.’ I was extremely excited to hear this because i had read about Prophets in the bible and their Word is not debated about.”
Within a month, unexpectedly Brother Grace was shortlisted for promotional examinations in the UPDF by his superiors. He went in faith of Christ Jesus and passed his examinations.
“I was promoted to a rank of of Major from a Captain because of the Prophetic encounter and Word I received from the Spirit of God.”
We are seeing scriptures perfected by the Grace of God once again. It was a Prophetic encounter that made Saul a king. It is a prophetic encounter that made Walugembe a Major.
After Major Grace received his promotion, he had to wait for a year to become fully appointed as a major. He narrated that this was a time for testing, because any mistake made during the waiting period would cause him to lose his new rank. However, the Prophet of God would not rest on advising him on how to patiently wait. Right now, he is enjoying the privileges of his new promotion by the Grace of God.
Piece of advice from Major Grace Walugembe: When you receive a Word from God, be patient and keep in faith for it to be perfected. It is not a man who brings to perfection a revelation, but the Spirit of God. So, let us always come to testify to that power when He works for you.
