CHRIST SHINNING AMONG COMMUNITY LEADERS.

Christmas is more than lights, food, celebration, to reminding the world that Christ Jesus is alive and His love beams among us. Guided by the Spirit of God, Prophet Abraham Richard received a Divine instruction for the 2024 Christmas season: to invite local leaders across Buikwe District.

Just as Christ came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45), this call painted a clear picture of a Servant’s life as the Prophet and the RDC of Buikwe District together with the TVC Ministries’ Partners ministered to the local community leaders, food staff, financial support and prayer for better improvement in life; as well as encouraging them to do the same with other God’s people in their localities.

The day began with heavy rains that threatened to disrupt the program. Yet, neither the Prophet nor the invited leaders allowed the downpour to quench their faith. Just as Noah’s flood worked toward God’s greater plan, this rain reminded all present that creation itself serves God’s purposes. When the skies cleared, the leaders gathered at the Prayer Mountain, eager to receive the message of love and hope.

The Prophet welcomed the leaders with humility, reminding them of Christ’s command in the gospel of Saint John 13:34–35, to love one another. He urged them to see love not only as giving material things but also giving your quality time, kindness, and patience to others.

The Resident District Commissioner, Mr. Kibwiika Micheal, in turn, acknowledged the Prophet’s Godly works, recognizing that, true leadership requires walking hand in hand with Men of God for wisdom, direction, and counselling as encrypted in 2 Samuel 5:19. Their words revealed the beauty of divine partnership between the government and the Church working together for the good of the community.

After the sharing of wisdom, the Prophet and the RDC distributed love gifts, which were received with joy and gratitude to God. The gathering ended with praises to God, fulfilling the Scripture: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.” (Saint Matthew 5:16).

This mission is a living testimony of the gospel of Saint John chapter 3:16, God’s love in action. As Prophet Abraham Richard reminded all, we are co-workers with God, His hands and feet on earth. When we make ourselves available, He will make us useful to the world.
