2 Kings 7:1: Elisha replied, “Listen to this message from the Lord! This is what the Lord says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.”

We all know that gold is considered a very valuable mineral due to its rarity, and unique physical properties. But what happens when the LORD decrees that water is going to be more expensive than gold.

Could you imagine that water at any point would be more expensive than gold?  I do not think so, because water is all around us. It is above, beneath and around us; lakes, rivers, wells; water is everywhere; so, it seems.

News has come from the Spiritual realm warning us to prepare for what is coming ahead (Job chapter 33 verse 14-15). On 17^th January, 2025, during an overnight prayer, inspired by the Holy Spirit, Prophet Abraham Richard revealed, “Water is going to be more expensive than gold.”

What could this mean? Water more expensive than gold! What situation could probably lead up to such a catastrophe? As men and women who received the Word of God, we go back to scriptures to pick faith.

1 Kings chapter 17 verse 1 states: Now Elijah, who was from Tishbe in Gilead, told King Ahab, “As surely as the LORD, the God of Israel, lives—the God I serve—there will be no dew or rain during the next few years until I give the word!”

True is the Word of God, what has been revealed in this generation, we have seen it happen in the previous generation. The rain was held for years and Israel faced a severe famine and drought.

In this generation if a similar revelation has to come our hearing, it calls for us to put our ears on the ground. What could lead to water being more expensive than gold. Could the rain be held as well and we face a very deadly drought that could led to water being expensive?

The Monitor publication dated 24^th February, 2025 released an article about heat wave in Uganda. Even in the communities we are living in, we are seeing water scarcity. This is enough for a man of faith to question, could this be the voice of God speaking to me?

As we put our ears on the ground to see what is going on, we remind you of what Prophet Abraham Richard taught concerning Prophecy and revelation.

When a revelation is released in your hearing; whether it is a good revelation or a bad one, it is speaking one message to you. PRAY.

So, as you read this message, put your ears on the ground, do not forget to pray. A prayer made in faith will attract the Spirit of God to come down (1 Samuel chapter 1 verse 9-18)
