As gentle as a dove and wearing a white impeccable robe, Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso took his position at the pulpit amidst the heavy down pour and led the believers into a surrendering prayer saying; “I give myself to you Christ Jesus.”
Thereafter, the Prophet revealed to the expectant congregation what the Lord had prepared for them. He noted that the Lord is saying that if we want Him to protect us, we must learn to believe what He says. Remember He is a perfect God and knows the motives and the propelling behind whatever we are pursuing; unfortunately, we have failed to trust Him.
Under the message title; God Knows Your Motives, the Servant of God took a reading from the book of Jeremiah 14:19: Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror. (NIV)
With the Holy Spirit insight, the Prophet noted that today the only prayer Christians all over the world are making is God why us, why this? It is true we are all going through given situations but while we grumble; as Christians do we even care what God thinks about us and our stand with Him?
The Prophet noted that God has not delayed to bless you; He is ever on time but your motives in line with His Will are the denominating factors for you to attain it. He expounded that in whatever situation good or bad, God is never silent but speaking to a believer. Many of these situations come to examine our faith in God and as believers; we should always remember that God is always faithful and abundant in love. Therefore, be at peace; not forgetting that God’s time is the best time.
The Prophet going deeper in the message, unveiled that Christians today fear to trust God’s Word. That is why we prefer that He proclaims the messages on loudspeakers then we shall somewhat be comforted that He has spoken. The Church today is no longer in faith but sight; it does not seek the Holy Spirit but miracles. It seeks more of healing than eternal life.
Today, we no longer care if God is happy or angry. We demand for blessings, deliverances and mega breakthroughs. We want what we want and that is it. On this very note the Prophet paused a question to the congregation; “Do you think that God does not know about you or your motives?”
The truth is He is clearly observing every detail of your motives and why you are asking for whatever you are asking for. He is dependable and faithful; He knows that at His best time, you will laugh. You may have prayed for so long and are at the verge of giving up or have given up already but let me assure you; do not give up on seeking God.
This time round, seek God, not for blessings or to kill your enemies but rather to know what He is saying about your situation; He will not delay to save you. Remember that at your time of weeping, God wants you to seek Him to know what He is saying about you, because in your time of joy you will hardly seek Him.
Referencing to his previous teaching of “Trusting in God” and painting the clear picture of how God sees you, the Servant of God again read from the book of Isaiah 44: 21-22, “Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you.” He said that God knows you and everything you are going through. He will not forget you; even if He seems too busy on other things.
However, as a Christian your burning question is, “If He says He has not forgotten me, why does He not come now?” To this the Holy Spirit answered the listening congregation through His Servant saying, “The reason why you are not getting it now is because God knows the motives behind the healing, transformation and the breakthrough you are busy looking for.” He knows that when He gives it to you, you will run out of His presence to worship the miracle or use it to scorn others.
The Prophet noted that sometimes God’s delay is of a surpassing motive; that is to save your soul from destruction. Summing up the teaching, the Prophet said, God knows you better than you know yourself. If the Lord can delay with His Servants, how about you?
“We all have a blessing that God set for us, the time of getting it is the factor,” the Prophet revealed. God has not delayed for your miracle; He is preparing how He will do it. All you have to do is trust in the Lord because no one has ever trusted Him and was disappointed.
