Message Title: Prophecy and the Call to Repentance
By: Prophet Abraham Richard
Scripture References: Gospel of Luke 21:5–38, 1Kings 17 & 18
The Prophet of God revisited one of the prophetic messages he delivered while in the Middle East, specifically concerning Dubai. He shared:
“To be a prophet is not merely a title; there must be signs and fruits that testify to who you are. Take note as you read this message: when the LORD reveals something through me, I do not go and plan how it will come to pass. I simply speak the Words the LORD places in my spirit and record them.
The reason I have revisited this record is because it was captured in November 2025 when I was in Dubai. As I moved around, the LORD instructed me to prophesy, saying, ‘I AM going to destroy the pride of this nation.’ What is the pride of the UAE, especially Dubai? It is the buildings, because they attract the whole world. It is also a place where all evil is conceived.
Every kind of sin that you know, is birthed in Dubai and it is what people do not tell you. There is a strong exaltation of wealth and money. Yet we know that when money is in the hands of someone without the discipline of God, it can expose all kinds of evil. I witnessed evil at its peak and wondered how people survive.
Dubai is known for some of the most attractive buildings in the world, and these represent its pride. However, these buildings are now being targeted and set ablaze with the conflict that is going on. Whoever is behind this is aiming at the skyscrapers-striking at their pride. Within just a few days, the situation in Dubai has changed, and tourism has declined drastically.
Let us turn to the Word of God for understanding through the Holy Spirit. In Gospel of Luke 21:5-11, the disciples asked Christ Jesus how they would know that His prophecy would come to pass. Christ Jesus told them that there would be signs (earthquakes, wars, and diseases) before the fulfilment of the Word.
When true Prophets of God speak, signs appear first. These signs confirm that what has been prophesied is on its way to fulfilment. From Genesis to Revelation, whenever Anointed men and women of God spoke, signs appeared first. These signs give us an opportunity to repent before the full manifestation of what has been revealed.
Every prophecy the LORD releases allows us to recognise that what we are seeing are signs. The main event has not yet come. What we are seeing, even on the ministry’s social media platforms, are signs. Christ Jesus said the day of the LORD is coming, but what will be the signs? There will be sickness, disease, and threats of war. Therefore, do not conclude that the prophecy has ended simply because signs have appeared.
There is something greater behind every prophecy, and that is God Himself. At the end of every Prophecy, God Almighty must be glorified, for He is above all. When you take this word to heart, it will change the way you perceive events. Consider what Elijah said to Ahab: ‘There will be no rain for years until I speak again.’ When true prophets speak, signs begin to manifest.
We do not recognise a Prophet by appearance, speech, or background, but by their fruits. God, the Creator of the world, sends His prophets to speak so that events are not mistaken for accidents. What is the purpose of signs following a prophecy or revelation? It is to lead us to repentance.
The LORD does not desire to destroy us; He desires to draw us closer to Himself. Signs confirm that something is about to happen (1 Kings 18:44). Before the fulfilment of prophecy, signs must appear. When we see these signs, we cannot stop what the LORD has declared. Consider childbirth: before a baby is born, there are signs.
Once labour begins, the process cannot be stopped. In the same way, signs prepare us to meet Christ Jesus our LORD. Therefore, we must acknowledge God. Prophecy concerns you personally, it is not about your neighbour, language, or background. It asks you one question: are you convinced?
It is not the role of the Prophet to convince you, but the work of the Holy Spirit. All the Prophecies released in this Ministry point to Christ Jesus, the Son of God, who is coming for you. When prophets speak, watch carefully and look for the signs. They follow a pattern and do not contradict one another.
Prophets are not entertainers; they are sent to prepare men and women who have received the vision of Christ Jesus. They are called to prepare servants of God to serve the LORD.”
