As Children of God, we believe that everything that happens is for one reason only and that is for the Glory of God. In the book of Acts 3:1-10, we find a story about a crippled man who received healing at the beautiful gate. This man, had been crippled from birth, but in God’s set time, his deliverance came, nothing stood in the way. As it was for the crippled man, let us see what happens in the life of twenty-eight-year-old Obonyo Sliver Jr when he steps in the presence of God.
This gentleman from birth could not eat meat. After trying to eat meat once, he ended up in the hospital where he discovered he was allergic to it. Obonyo Sliver Jr was allergic to meat, that was until it was God’s set time to change his story. He had the privilege of being part of the Prayer Camp meeting, and his prayer chart stated he needed deliverance from generational allergies.
The right faith met with God’s time! During the time of deliverance, inspired by the Holy Spirit, Prophet Abraham Richard laid his hands on this gentleman. To the utter shock of everyone, this gentleman vomited blood, and he was declared free in the Name of Christ Jesus. They later served him a plate of meat, which he enjoyed, and he did not have any allergic reaction.
In his words, brother Obonyo Sliver Jr from Tororo grinning from ear to ear enjoying meat confessed: Today, the 17th of December 2023, I enjoyed meat and I did not have any allergic reaction to it. I am happy that at twenty-eight years; I have been able to enjoy meat in the Name of Christ Jesus! I attest that am free.
Surely with this testimony, and with the reference to the testimony of the crippled man at the beautiful gate, you have assurance as a Christian that everything that is happening is for the Glory of God. In His time, He will make all things beautiful, as he did with brother Sliver. Glory and honour goes back to Christ Jesus.
