PRAISE AND WORSHIP BRINGS HARMONY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.
There is something we need to understand when it comes to Praise and Worship Ministry: It is the Ministry of the HolySpirit. This Ministry is not even among the five-fold ministries. It is not mentioned there because it is the Ministry of the HolySpirit Himself. The others are gifts and offices, but this is not a gift; it is His Ministry.
So, if you happen to stand in that position, the HolySpirit must use you and when He uses you, He will use you in a way that is not familiar to men, a way they do not understand. That is where the problem comes in. What you are doing is not what people are used to, so they do not like it. The Bible in Ephesians chapter 4 verse 11 to 13 is showing us that until the Body of Christ comes into unity, we cannot come to the fullness of Christ. This means that nothing will truly bring that unity except the Ministry of Worship and Praise.
Today, without doubt, we have true Prophets of God, true Teachers, Evangelists, Pastors, and the other ministry gifts. However, there is still something missing that would cause all these people to come together. You will rarely find them standing on the same platform or walking in agreement.
Why? Because something is missing, and that is the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Ministry of Praise and Worship is what bonds these gifts together, it is what brings unity to the Body of Christ. This is the revelation God has given me, and it is what I live for and it has made me treasure this Ministry. Where there is no unity, there is no fullness of Christ Jesus, the members of the Body of Christ will all remain independent of one another.
The Praise and Worship Ministry is like the synovial fluid between the bones. That fluid prevents friction between the joints so that our body can work in harmony. If we do not have the Praise and Worship Ministry in the Body of Christ, friction will arise and result in disagreement, fighting, anger, lack of knowledge, and respect for one another.
The HolySpirit, through the Ministry of Praise and Worship, harmonises the Body of Christ so that we do not crush or work against one another. That is why I always say that whenever praise and worship come first in the house of God, it brings people together.
When the HolySpirit fills our hearts through worship, whether I am a Prophet, a Teacher, an Evangelist, or a Pastor, you will find us shaking hands, embracing one another, and discovering why I need you and why you need me.
What will help us live in that harmony is the Ministry of Praise and Worship. When we give the Holy Spirit room, He will show us what to do next. Spiritual leaders and Ministry leaders, we have not paved the way for this Ministry. We have been denied room to minister, and many have called us mad or said that we do not know what we are doing. That is why we find everything so difficult.
The truth is that we (Praise and Worship Ministry) will often do what is contrary to what people are familiar with unless they are walking in the Holy Spirit. Only then can they understand what we are doing.
