Being a spiritual worshipper.

In this interview, the Servant of God shares a deeply personal testimony of how receiving the revelation of true worship transformed every aspect of his life. More than music or singing, worship became a lifestyle of complete surrender, opening the way to intimacy with God, clarity in hearing His voice. QN: How has being a worshipper transformed your life spiritually and physically?

RESPONSE:

Thank you very much for this question. Before I came to this revelation, I was deeply troubled in my spirit. I struggled to pray, hear the voice of God, recognize His presence and even understand what it truly meant to dwell in His presence.

As I read about our forefathers in Scripture, I often wondered what they experienced. I would ask myself, ‘Is this really possible? How did they receive visions? How did they understand what God was showing them?’ Hearing the voice of God seemed beyond my reach.

 A Revelation that changed everything:

Everything changed when God Almighty brought me into the revelation of true worship. I believe many believers have not yet come to this understanding. Many Christians have not realized that a worshipper is an instrument in the hands of God.

A true worshipper completely surrenders to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to take full possession of the heart and direct every aspect of their life.

When this revelation becomes real to you, serving God becomes much easier. Therefore, allow the Ministry of Praise and Worship to take its rightful place in your life, and you will discover a new ease and joy in walking with God.

The Calling of a Worshipper:

A worshipper is a vessel set apart exclusively for the Holy Spirit. As a worshipper, you are a set-apart instrument for the Holy Spirit alone to use. That is why there is a need for purity, righteousness, holiness of heart, total obedience, and complete surrender. The opinions of people should never outweigh obedience to God.

Allow the world to call you whatever names it wants, but remain faithful to doing what is right before God. Allow the world to call you whatever names it chooses, but remain faithful to doing what is right before God.

Worship is more than singing:

I would like to share what worship truly means. When I was growing in my walk with God, I used to think that what was written in John chapter 4 verse 23 referred only to singing songs before the LORD. Later, the Holy Spirit opened my understanding, and I realized that worship is far greater than music.

True worship is serving God with everything He has entrusted to you. When I speak about praise and worship, I am speaking about complete surrender and absolute obedience to the Will of God. Worship is laying your entire life before Him.

The Biblical picture of Worship:

The book of Revelation gives us a beautiful picture of true worship. Revelation chapter 4, we see that whenever worship began the twenty-four elders lay down their crowns before the throne of God.

This act was symbolic, it declared that they could not keep any glory for themselves in the presence of God. They humbled themselves completely before Him. So, this is the essence of worship, it is total surrender and obedience to the Will of God, laying down your whole life, including your pride, before Him.

The same spirit of worship was demonstrated by King David. As he danced before the LORD with all his might, even when his royal garments became loose, David was not concerned about preserving his dignity before people. His only desire was to honour God.

His worship reflected complete surrender. His identity as a king became secondary to his identity as a Servant before the presence of God. When you lay down your crown, you are declaring, ‘LORD, I have no crown of my own. Every crown belongs to You alone.’

How Worship Has Transformed My Life:

To answer your question directly, worship has transformed every area of my life. It has strengthened my prayer life, deepened my communion with God, made my service before Him easier, and greatly enhanced my assignment in the Prophetic ministry.

It has become much easier for me to prophesy after my heart has been filled with worship because worship continually keeps me abiding in the presence of God.

Many people have seen me playing worship music throughout the day. It is not because I am trying to appear spiritual or do something extraordinary. It is because I am intentionally keeping my heart in the presence of God through continuous praise and worship.

That has become one of the greatest secrets of my walk with God.
