Looking Back: Was There Ever Another Path?
As we conclude this installment of our interview with Seer Abraham Richard about his journey into worship and Praise, we come to a question that many Christians have pondered at some point in their walk with the LORD: What might life have looked like if you had not answered God’s call?
His response is both humbling and reassuring, reminding us that God’s purposes are never accidental. It encourages every believer to place complete trust in the LORD’S perfect plan.
QN: When you look back on your life, where do you think you would be today if you had not answered the call to the ministry of worship, or if you had not taken this path?
RESPONSE:
I believe I would still be here. I would still be serving God through worship and praise because there are no chances with God Almighty. It is not by chance that I am here.
I believe the LORD took me through that entire journey to bring me to this place. Whichever direction my life may have taken, I believe I would still have ended up worshipping the LORD.
We cannot say it is by accident that someone is born again. Nothing happens by accident. God Almighty knew me before He formed me. I have already shared where my journey in music began. You have to wonder; who taught me all those things in music, dance and drama? So, I truly believe I would still be here. There is no chance that I would have ended up in the marketplace or working in a bank. By the Grace of God, I would still be doing this. You can see that this is what I love. It is what I desire to spend my whole life doing here on earth. That is why I believe I would still be here.
