Good morning, dear reader! My name is Blessing, and I am very happy to share this story with you. I learned it from TVC Children’s Ministry. A story of faith-about a man who trusted God very much. His name was Abraham, and God was very pleased with his faith.

One day, God wanted to test Abraham’s faith. He told him to take his promised son, Isaac, and offer him as a sacrifice. Abraham obeyed God and took Isaac, two servants, and a donkey, and they started their journey.

When they reached a certain place, Abraham told the servants to stay there. Then he continued the journey with Isaac. Abraham told his son that they were going to worship the LORD.

On the way, Isaac asked his father, “Father, we have the wood and the fire, but where is the sacrifice?” Abraham answered, “God will provide the sacrifice, my son.”

When they reached the place God had shown them, He built an altar and lovingly placed Isaac on it. Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, an Angel of the LORD called out to him and said, “Abraham! Do not harm the boy. Now I know that you truly trust God.”

God was happy with Abraham’s faith. And from this story, I learned something very important: Abraham’s faith, is the type of faith we should display.
