Message Title: EFFECTIVE PRAYER

I want to share with you the Word of God, and I believe it will bless your life. Every day that we remain in Christ Jesus, we advance closer to our miracles, blessings and healing.
Today, I would like to share with you what affects our prayer life. Many of Christians send in their prayer requests, and whenever Servants of God go before the LORD to pray, they must first receive a response from the Spirit of God.
Even when you receive an answer from the LORD, never forget that there are details behind every prayer you make. By the Grace of God, I pray for many people, yet very few ever ask what happens before the Man of God prays for them.
That is why some people go home and try to imitate what they have seen, yet nothing happens. It fails because there are spiritual details behind healing and deliverance. Everything you see in Christ Jesus has a foundation. Unless someone asks, they may never understand the details behind your actions.
Likewise, before we receive an answer from the LORD, something happens first. No one can receive the healing of Christ Jesus unless Christ Himself comes through the Holy Spirit.
These are the details that many people do not want to understand. However, this is what I want to teach today. Let us take our time so that we may understand and receive the keys that will help us even when we are at home.
Let us read Psalm chapter 15 verse 1 to 5: LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your Holy Mountain? We shall go in the book of saint Matthew chapter 7 verse 12: So, in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
These Scriptures teach us to do for others what we would like them to do for us. In other words, before expecting kindness from others, be the first to show kindness. Today, many people complain because someone failed to greet them, yet they themselves do not greet others. How can you expect to receive what you are unwilling to give? What you want to see tomorrow, begin practising today.
If you want people to respect you tomorrow, begin respecting them today. If you want people to listen to you tomorrow, learn to listen to them today. If you desire healing tomorrow, begin bringing healing to others through love, encouragement and prayer.
The Scriptures you are reading today; they help to make our prayers effective. Psalm chapter 15 teaches us about who is worthy to come into the presence of God and stand before Him. It is the person who has demonstrated God’s love in their daily life. Such a person has a testimony that speaks on their behalf while they are on their knees before the LORD.
However, many of us come to pray yet we are not paying attention to where we are coming from. I mean how has your behavior towards God Almighty been yesterday and last week before you come for prayer. Before you pray, ask yourself: Whom have I shown the love of God today?
Many people come before God without reflecting on their actions. Before coming to pray, some have gossiped, backbitten, judged others or become both an offender and one who carries offences. When it comes to your neighbour, have you helped them in any way? Even in the smallest matters, have you shown kindness?
Instead, some of us wake up, dress well, put on good make-up, come to the Prayer Mountain, sing beautiful songs and expect Christ Jesus to speak to them. How can He, when you have not done what is right towards your neighbour?
Consider the question the LORD asked Cain: ‘Where is your brother?’ It was not because God did not know where Abel was. Rather, He wanted Cain to reflect on himself and ask, ‘Where have I been? What have I done? Christians, this is one of the greatest problems affecting our prayer life. We cannot expect answers from God if we refuse to examine how we have lived before coming into His presence.
Many Christians humble themselves before God, yet have no works of charity to accompany their prayers. If you desire God to answer your prayers, pay close attention to how you treat your neighbours. Imagine standing before the LORD looking respectable, yet having no record of kindness or compassion. Reflect today: Whom have you cared for? Whom have you shown kindness? To whom have you given your time?
Before you go on your knees, ask yourself where you are coming from. Do not rush to the Prayer Mountain before showing love to someone in need. It is meaningless to call yourself a Christian if your life bears no fruit. In truth, it is a serious matter to claim to belong to Christ while displaying none of His character. When Christ Jesus comes, He will look for fruit.
Someone near you needs comfort. Someone needs a shoulder to lean on. Jesus will often send you because you are His servant. If someone tells you they have not eaten for three days, help them if you are able. Do not ask unnecessary questions. Respond with compassion, for you are representing Christ. Some people are not looking for money. They simply need someone who will listen to them. Yet everyone around them seems too busy.
When you show love, do not expect the person you have helped to repay you. When you give, you give unto God. That is why giving is done in secret—it is between you and Him. After showing charity, let God alone see it. He knows your heart and your motives. A prayer that moves mountains is a prayer supported by a life of love and charity.
Wherever you are, show love. Use the gifts and talents the LORD has given you to bless and support others, so that the LORD may also help you. May the LORD bless you as you put this message in practice.
